Winter sports fans have top equipped mountain centres to their disposal, which offer good quality slopes, tracks, bob-sleigh runs and technical sports background. Several localities were chosen for organizing prestigious sports events. Ski and snowboard schools provide their services in every skiing centre, as well as ski rentals.

A lot of ski centres are located in the surrounding area of Malý Ráj. The centres offer a very good place not only for beginners, but also for the experienced skier. The centres are located in short distances from each other, which allow us to visit different centres every day.

Some ski resorts are suitable for people on the wheelchair who would like to ski with the special adjusted wheelchair.

Snow walking and cross country skiing

The scenery of the area is changing into an enchanted winter view with all the snow falling down as early as November. The hiking trail is turned into a snow track and cross country skiing track. In the highest areas of the mountain ranges and plains, where meadows alternate growths of dwarf pines and enable beautiful views of the surrounding, are the best conditions for trekking. We organize a winter walking programme with a lot of possibilities to extend, for example making our own track by using map and compass.
