Malý Ráj is located beautifully between two mountain ranges (Jizerské Hory and Krkonose). This area is still unspoiled and offers a lot of possibilities of outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, skiing, cross-country skiing, horse riding, and more. You can also enjoy the nature sights in this peaceful paradise. There are 2 buildings on 2 hectare land, each with its own characters, and 15 camping spots.
Guest house
This building used to be a cultural centre of the village. Now it is turned into a warm and cosy guest house.
Chalet
The second building is an old authentic wooden chalet, located about 100 m away from the guest house.
Camping
There is also place for 15 tents, with an area for private picnic and barbecue.
For wheel chair users
We would like to extend our welcome to guests who are in need of wheelchairs. Starting summer 2007 we will have three extra rooms remodelled in accordance with the requirements of wheelchair users. Please contact us if you would like to know whether any of our rooms are equipped to accommodate your special needs.
The food
Breakfast is included in the price; consist of a simple buffet of coffee, tea, and fresh bread, choice of toppings, yogurt and fresh fruit. You can also order a lunch pack for your picnic during your active day in the nature.
We have several options for dinner:
- We have a daily-menu, you can order for dinner in the morning if you would like us to prepare the meal for you.
- You can prepare your own meal. Both buildings are equipped with a complete kitchen with simple facilities.
- Eating out. Some small cafes are within 15 minutes walk away from Malý Ráj, or bigger village Vysoké nad Jizerou is 5 minutes away by car. You can find restaurants, shops and a supermarket in this village.
